(TFPVA) is experienced in the areas of film, television, documentary and trailers, hypermedia, visual anthropology audiovisual and advertising for television and cinema. TFPVA explores new language and forms of informational technology by developing wiser ways to construct knowledge in multiple dimensions like communication and representation. This drives TFPVA to always pay close attention to the innovation, voice, images, cultural rites, oral histories, and traditions which are rarely known or broadcast to the general public. Txan Film Productions & Visual Arts, Inc. objective is to provide visual material from our graphically vivid collections including photos, video, and research projects in various areas within a full range of filmic documentation. TFPVA aims to explore aspects of African Diaspora history and culture that are not widely known or normally overlooked in mainstream popular and scholarly discourse. Our first series of projects have focused on Cape Verde, an archipelago in the Atlantic Ocean some 370 miles off the coast of West Africa.
